Sorry it has been so long since we've updated! It's been a rough several months for the Van Puttens. They lost two close friends to cancer (Wilma & Mary Claire). The ladies are now angels looking over them, but they are very much missed!
Since January, Brent's platelet count had been getting lower and lower. In April, the doctors decided to change his chemo schedule to every 5 weeks rather than four so that his body could better tolerate the chemo. Thankfully, Brent's MRI in April showed continued stability. His next MRI will be in mid-June.
Over Spring Break, Missy and the boys came to VA for a visit which was great fun. Brent went to California to visit the Bermans to help celebrate their daughter's Bat Mitzvah. And now, they are in full swing with baseball season.
