I talked with Missy today and she said the day had been uneventful! You gotta love those days!
Hugh, Missy, and the boys had a great time at the Astros vs. Braves game last night. Even though the Astros won, the VP boys were happy. They felt like they should cheer for the Astros while they were in Houston. They were disappointed that they did not catch a fly ball though. They were hoping to bring a ball home for their daddy!
Brenda took the boys to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 today. I'm sure that was a hoot.
Brent switched medications yesterday late afternoon and it seems to be making a difference. He is feeling better which is great!
Kathy Rizzo (a friend of Missy & Brent's from Atlanta and the person who set up this blog) is in Houston right now for business. She will be joining the VPs at Hugh and Anna's for the night and will be watching the boys tomorrow during Brent's appointment with Dr. Gilbert. Kathy and Brenda will both be leaving Houston tomorrow evening.
Please continue to keep Brent, Missy, and the boys in your prayers. Tomorrow is a big day because they will find out about Brent's pathology report and recommended treatment plan. I'll be sure to share as soon as I hear anything. Brent will have his stitches removed on June 22nd and then the VPs will leave Houston on the 23rd to drive home via Pensacola.
Expect miracles!
