What a difference a day makes...
Once Brent was moved to recovery, those of us who are in Houston were able to visit with him one by one. He was awake, aware, and able to answer questions. Isn't that amazing? We are all relieved, grateful beyond words, and tired. : )
When Brent was being moved to his hospital room, Missy went to the hotel to visit with the boys. They are excited to see their daddy tomorrow.
We stopped by Brent's room around 9 pm to check on him. He was awake (yet groggy), talking, and hungry! Brent asked to talk to the boys on the phone and was able to chat briefly with Zack. Luke was already asleep. Christian wore them out!
I'm being picked up at 3:45 am to catch my flight home. One of us will be sure to post an update tomorrow at some point.
Thanks again for all your prayers, messages, and support. Missy and Brent were feelin' the love.

So happy to hear all the awesome news! I am sure that the boys were thrilled to get to see Daddy today- and I'm sure great medicine for Brent. On a side note, today we got a call and the caller ID just said "Texas". Bryce saw it and thought for sure it was Zack calling. I know Zack loves to talk on the phone, but I had to convince Bryce that he was thinking of more important things at the moment. :-) Love and prayers, Lisa

God,s family is so big and He still holds each of US in HIS hand. He just wants us to ask and He is faithful and just to answer our prayers! Hang in there Brent and Missy. . .
