Hi everyone. This is an update from Meg...Missy's BFF since childhood. I talked with Mis yesterday and she asked me to bring everyone up to date.
The Van Puttens had a nice trip to Houston. They enjoyed a day in New Orleans and arrived in Houston on Thursday. As many of you know, Thursday was Missy & Brent's 10 year wedding anniversary. Her brother Jon and his wife Ginny surprised them with dinner reservations at The Petroleum Club of Houston. Mis & Brent were able to enjoy a lovely dinner out while Zack and Luke hung out with Uncle Jon watching the NBA finals.
Brent had a full day of doctor appointments on Friday. They will need to arrive at the hospital at 6 am on Monday and the surgery will begin at 8 am. (Times are Central time - 1 hour behind Eastern time). The surgery is expected to last 8 hours. We'll post an update once the surgery is over.
Please continue to keep Brent, Missy, and the boys in your prayers. Expect Miracles!
